Newcastle Startup Week Online

Need some inspiration, motivation and help starting your new business? This online festival is for you!

Here at the Digital Greenhouse, we have had to pause plans to run our Starting Up Saturday bootcamps due to take place in March and May.  So while we work hard to reschedule these popular events for later in the year, we are excited to work with our friends at Newcastle Startup Week to bring you a week’s worth of online content to help you start your new business.

Running live online from 18 - 22 May

Join StartUps, Scale ups and corporate innovators from across the UK as part of Newcastle's Startup week!
Their week-long virtual festival will give you access to a range of exclusive video interviews, panel discussions, webinars, podcasts and blogs everyday during the week.  You don’t have to attend it all but you can dip in and out of the content that is relevant to you and your business.

Please let us know if you will be attending so we can put together a Guernsey support group to continue the conversations locally.  Find out more below.

Newcastle Startup Week’s 4th annual festival was due to take place in multiple venues across Newcastle upon Tyne & Gateshead in the North East of England.  But due to the Coronavirus lockdown they are taking it online, making their startup content accessible to a wider audience, including budding entrepreneurs in Guernsey!!

By buying a £5 ticket not only will you have access to this content until the end of May, you will also become part of a community of budding and experienced entrepreneurs to guide you on your journey, via their ‘Startup Week Community’ Facebook Group.

“The best people to help a start-up or a scale-up is another business owner - you can’t live long enough to learn all of the lessons in life about running a business, but you can learn from each other.”

Tony Robinson OBE - Micro Business Champion, Speaker at Newcastle Startup Week 2019

The week of content is divided into themes for each day:

You don’t have to attend the entire week.  By buying a £5 ticket you can dip in and out of the content that is relevant to you and your business and have access until the end of May.
